From touching a turtle to examining a fossil, and from singing around the campfire to silently watching a rare bird through binoculars, each student comes away with something different. But to each student, the experience is transformative! Since 1991 the Ozark Natural Science Center (ONSC) has worked to enhance the understanding, appreciation, and stewardship of the Ozark natural environment through wilderness immersion programs.
But this year, perhaps more than ever, we are seeing a great need for the deep nature immersion these programs provide. With the frequency and abundance of distractions in our society, there is rarely time given to contemplating and appreciating nature.
That is why it is so important for ONSC to reach more students next year and we can not do that without your support!
Many schools do not have field trip funds and many families can not afford to pay even a small field trip fee. But you can help!
Your donations will help us reach more students, launch more programs, educate more people, and instill a love for nature in more children!
Thank you for supporting ONSC!
Gratefully, Roslyn Imrie
P.S. Donate before the end of the year to help us reach our annual goal!
You can not force people to take care of nature, but if you instill a love of nature in children, they will grow up to take care of what they love!
