Fall 2025 ONSC Volunteer Work Day with New Volunteer Orientation

Volunteering with Ozark Natural Science Center - Join our team and make a difference!

Our volunteers assist with outreach, admin projects, trail and grounds maintenance, education, and much more.

Join us from 1-4pm for our ONSC fall clean-up of our main campus and trails.  We will be doing some invasive and nuisance species removal, weeding and maintenance of the native plant garden spaces, sweeping off outdoor deck spaces, cutting and splitting firewood for campfires, and doing some trail maintenance (mostly pruning/lopping, possibly some weed-whacking).

You can also choose to attend:

• October Ozark Exploration hike: Fall Foliage at Wishing Rock, 9-11am (register for guided hike here, by donation)

• New Volunteer Orientation, 11:30am-12:30pm    

• Lunch (provided by ONSC), 12:30 - 1pm

Bring your water bottle, work gloves, work boots, and tools if possible (including hand saws, chainsaws, wood splitting tools, pruners, loppers, etc.). Extra tools will be provided.
