We welcome volunteers to join us for this exciting opportunity to shadow our staff and veteran volunteers for training on facilitating our Kessler Mountain field trips. We’ll review everything you need to know for leading and assisting with Kessler Mountain field trips!

🥾Kessler Mountain Volunteer Shadowing and Training🥾
Kessler Mountain Nature Center and Outdoor Classroom, 1725 S. Smokehouse Trail, Fayetteville AR
Many dates available throughout fall and spring
🥾ONSC at Kessler Mountain Nature Center is a unique program that provides an outdoor learning experience for students of all ages, with guided nature hikes and a fossil class. Facilities include a 0.8-mile interpretive loop trail, native plant and rain garden, and a 1,500-square foot indoor nature center.

What to Expect
Join a team of like-minded educators and conservationists to guide field trips with hikes and a fossil class.
Shadow multiple field trips to get comfortable before guiding portions of the trip independently.
Flexibility! You set your own schedule by signing up for events.
Bring a lunch or wait until after the program ends to go grab a bite!
