About the Event
Come enjoy seeing the King’s River Overlook and hiking along it’s trail. This will start your adventure guided by an ONSC teacher naturalist where you will gain a perspective that you just can’t get when hiking alone. Just down the path, Eagle’s Nest Falls is an easy hike with a little bushwhacking. Locally called Fish Trap Falls, you will see for yourself why is carries both names. Get a great view from the bottom of this 41 foot falls and learn about the ecology and natural wonders of this part of our world here at ONSC. The hike is just over a mile round trip. Most of the hike is fairly level and easy but the short hike to the base of the falls is very steep. The overlook has a sheer drop-off without a railing so children should be closely monitored around the edge.
All events will begin at the Ozark Natural Science Center. The address is 1905 Madison 1305 Huntsville, AR 72740. Our campus is located half way between Huntsville and Eureka Springs off HWY 23.
Due to limited ticket availability in our program, all tickets must be paid for prior to the event. All proceeds benifit the Ozark Natural Science Center, a 501c3 nonprofit devoted to youth environmental education. Thank you for your understanding!
(PayPal will accept your Credit or Debit card even if you do not have a PayPal account.)
No refunds or transfers to other programs after January 11th.
