About the Event

Help us during our rain garden work day at ONSC's Lake Fayetteville location. A rain garden is an area of native plants designed to collect rainwater from roofs and other non-porous surfaces. Our rain garden will capture and infiltrate stormwater runoff from the building, sidewalks, and deck, which will reduce pollution and flooding.

This event will be led by Illinois River Watershed Partnership and ONSC on Sat September 14 from 9am - noon.  We'll be planting  native plants donated by NWA Master Naturalists!

No previous experience or training is required.

Bring your water bottle, work gloves, work boots, and dress for the weather.  Other supplies will be provided.

Please feel free to share with friends and family. Registration required (ticket links are below).
