About the Event
ONSC is seeking volunteers to assist with outreach on Friday, May 16th, 8:30-11:30AM for the Lingle Middle School Nature Days at Prairie Creek Marina Park (the Day Use Area near the swimming area). ONSC will be leading our "Creek Critters" (Benthic MacroInvertebrate bioindicators of water quality) class/activity with 2 groups of approximately 15 students each (one session is from 9-9:50AM, and the second from 10-10:50AM). Please arrive at 8:30 to help our ONSC staff with set up of our table & Creek Critters activity/supplies, as well as some of our typical outreach materials. Plan to stay until around 11:30AM to also help with clean up after the sessions are over.
