Help ONSC lead a fun Creek Critters activity for our station at the Wetland Expedition Field Trips at Osage Park, on Wednesday, May 8th, 8:00AM-1:45PM. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and beverages will be provided to all volunteers!

About the Event
ONSC is seeking volunteers to assist with outreach on Wednesday, May 8th from 8:00AM-1:45PM for the Wetland Expedition Field Trips at Osage Park.
*ONSC's station will be a Creek Critters (Benthic MacroInvertebrate bioindicators of water quality) activity.
Please arrive at 8:00 to help our ONSC staff with set up of our table & Creek Critters activity/supplies, as well as some of our typical outreach materials. Plan to stay until around 1:45PM to also help with clean up after the sessions are over.

9am-1:20pm Program
-Students will rotate through stations lasting 30 minutes each.
-There will be a lunch break from 11:30-11:55 for all students, educators, and volunteers.
-Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and beverages will be provided to all volunteers/facilitators.

The premise of this large-scale field trip event is to provide 5th grade students in Northwest Arkansas the opportunity to experience Osage Park and its wetlands in a fun, hands-on way through topics such as:
- Ecosystems
- Watersheds and Watershed Mapping
- Wetland Wildlife
- Invasive Species and Management
- Water Quality/Freshwater Pollution
- etc!
