About the Event
Learn the skills of ancient people while exploring the Ozark wilderness in this 1-day workshop at Ozark Natural Science Center with Eric Fuselier from Ozark Primitive Skills. The workshop will include guided hikes, Â shelter building, fire-starting, and animal tracks and signs.
Participants must be at least 12 years old. All children under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult (no more than 2 children per adult).Â
All participants need to bring their own pocketknife, appropriate clothing for the weather (rain or shine), closed-toe shoes, and a lunch.
About the Instructor:
Eric Fuselier: Eric is an environmental scientist who works to ensure that development projects are built with minimal impact to the environment. Eric loves botany, teaching wilderness skills, and spending time in nature. He lives with his family in a cabin that he and his wife built with help from friends and family. His passions include native plants, wetlands, and facilitating a connection with nature in others
