About the Event

Unplug and reconnect with your family during a hike to the beautiful Tea Kettle falls.  This hidden gem has no trail to follow and can be difficult to find on your own, so let our teacher naturalist lead you there.  Along the way, we'll share our knowledge of the forest around us and do some winter birding. Tea Kettle Falls is a glorious 46 foot falls that spills out of the top of the bluff line after it twists and turns its way through solid rock.  This unique waterfall shows best after heavy rains but even when it isn't flowing, the setting surrounding it still stunning.

This hike will take about 3.5 hours round trip. Since there is no designated trail, hikers should be prepared to navigate over rough and steep terrain. We will still hike if it is cold or there is a light rain since the waterfall…
