About the Event

Join our team of Teacher Naturalists on an easy hike to discover the wonders of two of our hidden treasures at ONSC.

Tea Kettle Falls is a glorious 46-foot falls that spills out of the top of the bluffline after it twists and turns its way through solid rock. This unique waterfall shows best after heavy rains - but even when it is gently flowing, the beautiful surroundings make up for lighter flow. There is more to come as we walk upstream along Warm Fork Creek to a lovely grotto and Reynolds Falls. This is a well-kept secret around these parts which will not disappoint. Linger and enjoy a falls that offers otherworldly enchantment as you discover wildflowers, ferns, and the beauty of cascading water with the lovely pool at its center.

Meet at the Lewis Pavilion at Ozark Natural Science Center at 1 pm for hot chocolate and a welcome before we commute by vehicle to the upper areas of McIlroy Wildlife Park to start our easy hike to the falls trail.  We will return to ONSC by 5pm.  Please be dressed for the weather with extra socks and shoes, a water bottle and hat.

Please do not bring alcohol, glass, small children, or pets on this hike.

Due to limited ticket availability in our program, all tickets must be paid for prior to the event. Thank you for your understanding!

PayPal will accept your Credit or Debit card even if you do not have a PayPal account.
