About the Artist:
Donna Mulhollan's Artist Statement: Donna Mulhollan is half of the folk duo Still on the Hill, who have both been long-time supporters of ONSC. Donna considers herself a "craftivist" and uses her newfound hobby of needle felting to raise funds for causes she believes in. Still on the Hill has created a beautiful bird feeding station at the ONSC location at Lake Fayetteville and sales from this series will go toward bird seed and other elements for the birds. This needle felted series is called PLAY. Each piece has a different creature sitting upon or interacting with beach balls. All pieces have one word and a haiku attached to them. They are all approximately 2' x 1.5' and ready to hang. There will be a silent auction for the pieces, and Donna will give a talk about the work during the opening of the exhibit.
