Connect With Nature in the Heart of the Ozark Mountains!
ONSC's Covid-19 Response
ONSC is committed to protecting the health and wellbeing of our staff and visitors. All ONSC staff are fully vaccinated. However, as many of our visitors are youth, ONSC staff and volunteers continue to maintain safety measures including the use of cloth face coverings while indoors, physical distancing, hand hygiene, and enhanced cleaning protocols.
We're excited to guide your family or small group on hikes and outdoor lessons in a safe, distanced environment. Choose as many hikes and lessons as you want - and stay for a couple of hours, stay for a day, or stay overnight!
Guided Hikes: Choose among 4 distinct hikes and learn about geology, forestry, botany, history, and so much more.
Guided Night Hikes: Let us lead you on an exciting and beautiful trek into nature at night
Outdoor Classroom Lessons: We have engaging outdoor, hands-on lessons ranging from radio tracking and compost to plants and animals.
ONSC offers a unique, immersion-based approach to learning about nature and the natural sciences. Students visit us for authentic science learning experiences that are correlated with national and state science learning standards and provide in-depth education in biology, ecology, geology, and social studies – all while students have fun hiking and experiencing nature. If you're not finding the exact program that you want, we are happy to work with you and create an adventure for you, your children, or your students!
We are booked through June and July, please inquire about dates in August.
